Clint Says: This is a must-see for monster movie fans

Look, there is no need to beat around the bush regarding this film. All you need to know is that Godzilla and Kong beat the ever-loving tar out of each other for a good 40 minutes. The rest of the movie is only there to funnel you towards the fight scenes.

If you read that and got excited, then go see it now. You will not be disappointed.

If you are interested in things like great acting, a powerful and meaningful screenplay, and a movie without massive plot holes why on earth are you bothering to read a review of the biggest monster movie of all time? The plot is ridiculous, thin, and full of massive holes. The acting is passable at best. And the only thing meaningful is who is going to destroy who. Caring about anything more than that is a complete waste of your time.

This is a fantastic monster movie. Compared to all other movies, it is average at best. So, enjoy it for what it is and forget about what it is not. Just go in, pick your favorite, and cheer them on with the rest of the movie-goeres. (Then go grab more popcorn while the humans are talking).
